Daily manager of the DETECT-2 project which is an international data pooling collaboration of population based surveys – currently including 70 centres from 40 different countries with information on more than 200,000 individuals. The project is designed to address a number of issues relating to screening and early detection of Type 2 diabetes and IGT, with a special emphasis on the impact of ethnicity.
