Overall, we aim to evaluate patient education programs developed in Steno’s Patient Education Research Group. This includes an evaluation of the effects of the dialogue-based patient education tool – NExt Education (NEED), as well as the consultation program “Empowerment, Motivation and Medical Adherence” (EMMA).
This research is intended to contribute to establishing a greater awareness of how diabetes affects the labour market in terms of both societal and individual outcomes.
Colombian project aims to promote healthier pregnancies and awareness of gestational diabetes
The project aims to improve the treatments available for diabetic patients, to enhance their health and quality of life. Ultimately it is hoped that such improvements would lead to a reduction in public health costs associated with diabetes and related complications.
